Facilities and Location


Camp Miller is located on 342 acres, with over a mile of shoreline on beautiful Sturgeon Lake. Just 45 minutes south of Duluth on Interstate 35, Camp Miller is in a prime location for any sort of getaway whether it is for a few hours, or for a whole week.


From North (Duluth): Take I-35 S. roughly 45 minutes south of Duluth, take Sturgeon Lake exit 209, turn left to go across hwy, first left at E. Frontage Rd., 2 blocks, turn right  into Camp Miller Entrance

From South (Twin Cities): Take I-35 N. roughly 55 minutes north of Cambridge, take Sturgeon Lake exit 209, turn right to drive past the gas station, first left at E. Frontage Rd., 2 blocks, turn right into Camp  Miller Entrance

Entering Camp and Parking: Follow signs to stay to the left upon entering camp.  Drive roughly 200 yards down the road.  For weddings and events please turn left into the main parking lot.  For deliveries and camp drop-off please go right and follow signs to Mitchell Lodge.


With over 15 buildings, Camp Miller is sure to have the facilities and lodging you need for any retreat or event. Mitchell Lodge serves as the main facility on camp as it is home to our camp offices, kitchen, and dining hall. Enjoy the rustic coziness of the Pinewoods Cabins and Pine Palace Bathhouse on the eastern side of camp. Around the bell area, at the heart of camp, we have Garber Lodge, Hanson Lodge, and Norm McCleod Lodge for many of your lodging or meeting needs. Venture westward along the lake to reach the Lakeshore Cabins, home to Jack McCleod Leadership Lodge or the Oaks Lodge. Both of these lodges have full-use bathrooms as well as an additional meeting space. Looking for something more cozy? Check out Maple cabin amongst these two lodges for a more adventurous camping experience.
